AMEB Exam Preparation

We pride ourselves on the dedication to achieve excellence through programs of work based on the AMEB Manual of Syllabuses.

Practical Exam Preparation

We prepare students for Piano and Singing Practical Examinations.

Structure of Lessons are based on each AMEB Grade:

• Technical Work - Scales, Broken Chords and arpeggios
• Repertoire includes a range of studies and pieces - Pieces from the AMEB Grade Books and choices of at least two extra pieces to allow for additional student enjoyment
• Aural Training and Sightreading unseen pieces of music to build accuracy of notes, time, rhythm and fluency.

• Keys and Scales
• Intervals
• Chords
• Time and Rhythm
• Memory
• Terminology
• Speed
• Modifications of Speed
• Signs
• Intensity of Sound
