Charity & Scholarships
Scholarships are available to children who are seriously ill, have disabilities or who are disadvantaged. Beka Cusack conducts lessons at either the hospital, school or home of the pupil and provides music resources.
"I believe learning music and experiencing joy through music will help ill children recover and heal towards wellness, by helping them focus on something fun. Making music, sounds and song is a detailed activity which requires concentration and this enables a person to shift their focus away from their illness to the joyful experience of making sounds."
Music is also a vehicle which can provide gentle therapy and is also a safe mechanism for children to express their feelings through.
